Because there are so many different renewable energy technologies available it can become confusing, Coolbreeze is here to help you make the right choice. We have dedicated experts on hand to help you decide on the right option for you. Primarily renewable energy technologies provide you with an opportunity to reduce your energy bills.

Green energy incentives such as the feed in tariff (FIT) and the renewable heat incentive (RHI) offer financial benefits for the production of renewable energy

Renewable Heat Incentives (RHIs):

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a UK Government scheme set up to encourage uptake of renewable heat technologies among householders, communities and businesses through the provision of financial incentives. The payments depend on your heating system type (ie, biomass, heat pump or solar thermal.) the payments are for anyone that has installed a renewable heating system such as an air source heat pump or biomass boiler and has a domestic Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The EPC is proof that your property is a domestic ‘dwelling’. There is also a commercial version of this scheme available for businesses taking advantage of renewable heating systems.

Feed In Tarrif (FIT)

The feed in tariff or (FIT) is a government run scheme designed to promote a range of renewable energy technologies, such as solar PV. The scheme will pay you for 100% of the electricity you produce, through renewable energy, regardless of whether you use the electric or not. FITs payments are made quarterly by your electricity supplier. We can help you with the application process.

MCS Accreditation

To receive any of the government incentives, the business that installs your renewable energy technology must be MCS accredited, (micro-generation certification scheme) this is a government lead scheme that ensures that the company that installs your technology is fully trained, certified and competent. Coolbreeze is MCS accredited. See the MCS installer’s database on
